Today, watching our Singapore team lift the Asian Championship trophy, seven years of memories flooded through my mind. As I stood on the sidelines, my heart swelled with the same pride I could see on every player's face.
Seven years. Countless training sessions, late-night treatments, emergency calls, pre-match preparations, and post-game recoveries. Every strain, every sprain, every setback we overcame together. I've watched these athletes grow not just as players, but as individuals who never gave up on their dream.
When the final whistle blew, I couldn't hold back tears. The players rushed to include me in their celebration – a gesture that reminded me why I love being a sports physiotherapist. This isn't just a job; it's a privilege to be part of something bigger than ourselves.
